‘Tis the Season
…and we’re back!
So I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest apologies to you, my readers (all 3 of you), for my prolonged absence. It would seem that as everybody just finished unwinding from the 2009 holiday season, a whole lot of things started happening all at once – which sparked this impromptu hiatus. The most exciting (for me anyway) out of all this hullabaloo is the increased amount of clients that have been coming to me looking for website assistance. Ironic, isn’t it, that the very thing keeping me from my own website is the task of creating/designing/adjusting other people’s websites? But this is a good thing I promise you! For one, it will mean a few more additions to my portfolio. Add on top of that the fact that I’m generating some income and hopefully you’ll understand why I’ve been gone so long and maybe find it in your hearts to forgive me.
In other news, as I’m sure most of you know, this has been a bizarre couple of months in the meteorological arena. Every state in the US (excepting Hawaii) was hit with snow in some capacity. Being a kid on the east coast, we received quite a lot of the stuff; so much of it, actually, that we surpassed all previous Philadelphia records for snowfall. Imagine my sheer joy and excitement at the prospect of spending 6+ hours shoveling my driveway and frontwalk. :speechless: Yeah, exactly. Considering my already bad back, this has been quite a painful winter indeed… Hence my very tropical and paradise-esque picture for this post’s header image. Wouldn’t we all love to be there right about now?
Other than that, there isn’t too much more to report at the moment. I just wanted to come back to my website now that I’ve finally found the time (and not been in too much pain) and let everyone know that I’m back; and hopefully (with any luck) will begin posting more frequent updates now that things are falling into a more regular and steady rhythm for me. I’ve missed you all. Honest. I swear. ::begins backing away slowly::
